The residential estate can be reached easily by car via Heerstrasse and Magistratsweg. To get there by public transport, you can take the underground (U7) to Rathaus Spandau Station, and then bus 131/137 (just a thirteenminutes’ drive). A good range of shops is available in a nearby shopping arcade. On your way home to the apartment you can drop in at Spandauer Arkaden shopping centre. The nearby sports grounds are ideal for jogging or ball games. The historical part of Spandau is also well worth a visit. It has many shops, pubs and restaurants, and the famous citadel is home to interesting exhibitions on Berlin's history.
